Family Workshop: LEGO, STEM, and Inventions from Asia
VIEW EVENT DETAILSMost objects we use on a daily basis were invented by someone. In this family workshop with Bricks4Kidz, find out how Japan, China, and India brought about the origin of technology like the electric car, robots, and rockets. Build, learn, and play while exploring the realms of STEM and having fun with motorized models!
These activities will encourage all young minds to understand the difference between an invention and a discovery, learn how inventions solve problems, and think of what they could invent, or improvements they could make to an existing object to solve a problem.
This workshop is open to all kids ages 6–12. Each ticket includes admission for one child and one adult.
Education and outreach programs at Asia Society Texas Center are made possible through generous funding from Karen Chang and the George and Mary Josephine Hamman Foundation. Additional support is provided by Friends of Asia Society Texas Center, a dedicated group of individuals and organizations committed to bringing the best in exhibitions and public programming to Houston.
